Обязанности
- 01Design and build Suno’s Android app across creation, discovery, playback, and social experiences
- 02Create foundational abstractions and libraries for performant, highly interactive media experiences
- 03Own feature development from zero to one and beyond — scoping, shipping, and iterating post-launch
- 04Collaborate closely with product and design to shape the feel, flow, and direction of the app
- 05Optimize for performance, responsiveness, and delight — from render times to audio latency to micro-interactions
- 06Instrument and monitor the app’s health, and iterate rapidly based on real user data
- 07Set the technical direction for the Android platform and define architectural patterns the team builds on
- 08Mentor engineers and raise the bar for code quality, abstractions, and engineering culture
Требования
- 015+ years shipping production Android apps
- 02Advanced expertise in Kotlin and modern Android development frameworks and best practices
- 03Experience building fluid, polished animations and translating design prototypes into robust, production-grade code
- 04A keen understanding of what’s distinct about Android — and how to leverage that in a media-rich application
- 05Strong sense for performance: you profile, benchmark, and fix across UI rendering, memory, and network efficiency
- 06An obsession with great user experience — you care about the details that most engineers skip
- 07Comfort with ambiguity: you can scope work, make tradeoffs, and ship without a fully-defined spec
- 08A collaborative spirit and strong communication — you work fluidly with designers, PMs, and backend teams
- 09Prior experience with ExoPlayer and Media3 for audio/video playback
- 10Experience working with audio streaming pipelines or real-time audio on Android
- 11Experience with social product features: feeds, follow graphs, notifications, publishing flows
- 12Background designing or consuming mobile-first APIs in close collaboration with backend engineers
- 13Track record building 0→1 consumer products at a fast-moving startup
- 14Technical leadership or mentorship experience (especially important for Staff candidates)
